Photo-sharing app Instagram has banned the #goddess because "inappropriate" images were allegedly shared, media reports said.
Earlier this month, Instagram also banned the #curvy but reinstated it last week.
"We only block hashtags when they are consistently being used to share images and videos that violate our community guidelines around nudity," a company spokesperson was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.
Instagram has a history of what some users would call overzealous censorship.
Even as users reportedly said the ban was an unjustified and "anti-woman" move, the company has vindicated its move by citing their rules.
Earlier, Instagram also came under fire after it banned a photo of a fully clothed woman whose menstrual blood showed through her sweatpants.
