Former Apple CEO John Sculley-backed Obi Worldphones, formerly known as
Obi Mobiles, is all set to launch its new smartphone -- Obi Worldphone
SF1 in the Indian market.
In a press statement, Neeraj Chauhan, co-founder and CEO of Obi Worldphone, said, "We plan to launch Obi Worldphone in India within this coming month and are committed to working strictly to attract consumers with our innovations in design, technology and high standards for manufacturing to deliver the great products."
Obi Worldphone SF1 has a 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 GPU. The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system and packs 3000 mAh battery. On camera front, there's 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash. For selfies, there's a 5MP camera on front with LED flash. Worldphone SF1 comes in two variants: 2GB and 3GB RAM. While the former offers with 16GB in-built storage, the latter has 32GB storage.
Other features of the smartphone include microphones for noise cancelation, Dolby Audio Surround and Quick Charge 1.0.
