Apple fixes Safari browser bug

Apple has reportedly fixed the bug in its Safari web browser that caused it to suddenly crash for many iPhone, iPad and Mac users globally. According to BuzzFeed News, "Apple has fixed the bug that caused the Safari browser to crash on iPhones, iPads, and Macs...."

Earlier, some users had complained that Apple's Safari search browser is crashing for some users when they run a search from the address bar in both iOS and OS X devices.

According to a report in The Verge, the problem appeared to be affecting iOS and OS X devices worldwide.

Apple's iPhones and iPads run on iOS, while its Mac computers operate on OS X.

iPhone-maker Apple earlier this week forecast its first revenue drop in 13 years and reported the slowest-ever increase in iPhone shipments.
