Domestic consumer electronics brand ENRG has introduced a GoPro
alternative in the form of Epicam for Rs 7,990. The action-camera is a
portable, mountable and is waterproof.
It features a 12-megapixel camera with 170 wide angle and comes with a head mount to shoot videos while driving or cycling. There is an additional waterproof housing to shoot underwater. It offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The camera can be connected with the smartphone via Wi-Fi and users can share the images instantly using the mobile app. The app is available for iOS and Android users which will turns the smartphone into a viewfinder or to watch recorded video. It also live streams from the camera as well as making it as a fully-functional remote control enabling users to start and stop video recording and take photos via the device.
