Xiaomi
has announced an array of smart products under its IoT sub-brand Mi
Ecosystem. Along with a connected rice pressure cooker, the Chinese
manufacturer also announced the second-generation Mi Water Purifier,
Bluetooth Speaker and Mi Router 3.
The Xiaomi Mi Water Purifier 2 offers reverse osmosis technology that removes impurities from water. The purifier comes with four-layer purification system capable of removing tap water rust, bacteria, antibiotics, and unpleasant odours from the water.
The
company says that the advanced filtration technology of the purifier
enables it to detect particles as small as 0.0001micron. The device also
offers Wi-Fi connectivity allowing users to check the quality of water
from their Android and iOS devices. The water purifier is priced at 1,999 yuan.
Xiaomi's new Bluetooth speaker comes with 1,200mAh battery that promises 7 hours of continuous playback. The device also incorporates a built-in microphone that allows users to make and receive calls. It has an LED indicator in the front and supports up to 10 meters of distance. The Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker comes with a price tag of 129 yuan.
