hot Android smartphones coming to India soon
As
we move further down to the second half of 2016, the smartphone market
is expected to get more competitive. After the launch of major flagship
smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5, HTC 10, Xiaomi Mi 5, OnePlus 3
and others in India, companies are now likely to focus on the mid-range
segment in the next few weeks. Of course, we have Apple iPhone 7,
Samsung Galaxy Note 6, the next Nexus smartphone series coming too, but
they are still far. Here are ten Android smartphones expected to launch
in India soon.
Xiaomi Redmi 3
Xiaomi
will most likely launch the successor to its budget Redmi 2 smartphone
in India soon. It is one of Xiaomi’s most popular smartphones. The Redmi
3 flaunts a metallic body along with a massive 4,100mAh battery. It is
powered by the new 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor with 2GB
RAM and 16GB onboard storage. With support for 4G on both sim card
slots, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
Asus Zenfone 3
Asus
is expected to launch its Zenfone 3 series in India soon. The company
is likely to launch multiple smartphones under the Zenfone 3 moniker,
each with varying hardware specifications. The upcoming Zenfone 3
smartphones have been rumoured to come with features like a fingerprint
scanner and USB Type-C port. On the software side, the devices will most
certainly come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest version of
Zen UI baked on top.

Samsung Galaxy A9
After
the A8, Samsung is expected to introduce its Galaxy A9 smartphone. The
device has already been unveiled in China. The key features of Galaxy A9
include 6-inch screen, 4,000mAh battery and fingerprint sensor. The
smartphone packs the octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset with 3GB RAM, 16GB
internal storage, 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

Le 2 Pro
LeEco
is expected to launch its Le 2 Pro soon in India. It sports a 5.5-inch
Full HD display with 1,080x1,920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a
2.5GHz MediaTek Helio X25 processor. The handset offers 4GB of RAM and
64GB of internal storage, along with a 21MP rear camera with LED flash
and an 8MP selfie shooter. It houses a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G
LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB Type-C as connectivity options.
Lenovo ZUK Z2
After
the ZUK Z1, Lenovo is expected to release the second ZUK. Lenovo had
launched the ZUK Z2 in China in May. On the specifications front, the
ZUK Z2 has a 5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The
handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by
a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz.
Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro
After
the launching the flagship Mi 5, consumers are eagerly waiting for the
Mi 5 Pro version with 4GB and 128GB onboard storage. There is no
official word regarding the Mi 5 Pro launch in India, however, the
company hasn’t denied the possibility either.
Lenovo Phab 2 Pro
Lenovo
recently announced the first Google Project Tango-enabled Phab 2 Pro
globally. The device is expected to launch in India later this year. It
comes with a 6.40-inch display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels,
1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB
of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. There is a
16MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera.
Moto Z
The
new Moto Z and Moto Z Force will be coming to India in
Spetember-October. The smartphones will be launched along with the Moto
Mods, showcased at the Lenovo Tech World show. Moto Z Force is more
powerful out of the two as it has a bigger battery, better rear camera
and a second generation Shatter Shield display, (similar to the one in
Moto X Force).
QiKU N4
QiKU
also expanded its smartphone portfolio by launching the QiKU N4
handset. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based smartphone features a
5.5-inch Full HD display and houses a MediaTek Helio X20 processor with
4GB RAM to take care of apps and other software. It also features a 13MP
rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
