Chinese telecom giant Huawei under its Honor brand has launched another budget Android smartphone Honor 5C . Priced at Rs 10,999, the smartphone will be exclusively avialable on Flipkart starting June 30. The mid-range price point of between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,0000 is the most competitive in the market. Consumers have a lot of options in this price range, especially from Chinese brands like Xiaomi, LeEco, Coolpad and others.

The Honor 5C, like other popular smartphones in the price range, also features an all metal body. However, one of the major differentiators is that the Honor 5C is powered by Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 650 chipset. Apart from the hardware features, Honor claims to have some useful software features and has an intuitive fingerprint scanner. Also, it is among the very few smartphones in this price range to offer Android Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box.
