Recently there were rumours that Google is planning to launch its own smartwatches with Google Assistant integration. Now, an image claiming to be of the rumoured smartwatches has surfaced on the web.

The image shared by Android Police shows the two watches codenamed 'Angelfish' and 'Swordfish' that are expected to launch alongside the Google Nexus smartphones later this year. The image renders by the website are said to be recreations of the two alleged smartwatches.

The report adds that there will also be a small gap between the watch body and the visible area. Unlike 'Angelfish', this smartwatch is expected to not come with support for LTE connectivity and GPS.

The website also says that Google is still in prototyping stage, which means that the final product may be appear different from these renders.

As per previous rumours, these Android Wear smartwatches are expected to come with Nexus branding. At this year's I/O, Google announced a major update to its Android Wear platform.
