The US-based cab-hailing company Uber is celebrating Indian badminton player PV Sindhu's feat at Rio Olympics 2016. Uber India is paying a tribute to country's pride Sindhu

in the women's singles badminton at Rio Olmpics on Friday.
Commuters booking cabs on through the Uber app can see shuttlecocks plying on the road as the the company has replaced the traditional cab icons with the 'badminton gear'.
The company has also congratulated the badminton icon. "Congrats Sindhu. To celebrate the silver medal and the amazing badminton played by our star shuttler -- PV Sindhu, we've changed our cars to look like shuttles for today #IndiainRio," reads the congratulatory message on the Uber app.
Uber India also congratulated Sindhu on its Twitter page. "Little things that go a long way. Congratulations @Pvsindhu1! :) #Rio2016 #Ind," reads the company's tweet.
