Lenovo
seems to be betting big on convertible laptops. The company expanded
its convertible laptops portfolio with the launch of four new 2-in-1
devices at a conference on the sidelines of IFA in Berlin, Germany.
Lenovo Yoga Book takes the spotlight among these. Claimed to be the world's thinnest and lightest 2-in-1, the device comes in Android and Windows OS versions.
The highlight of the Yoga Book is the flat keyboard called Halo Keyboard that also doubles up as the writing interface. It has a LCD/touch panel along with touch sensors and backlight, haptic feedback. The keyboard is pressure sensitive as well and is said to be 60% thinner than a typical mechanical keyboard. It is just 9.6mm thin and weighs 690 gram.
The Lenovo Yoga Book features a 10.1-inch full HD display and is powered by an Intel Atom x5 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM. It also includes 64GB of inbuilt storage and is backed by a 8500mAh battery that is said to power the device for up to 15 hours.
In addition to the Lenovo Yoga Book, the company also launched the Yoga Tab 3 Plus, Yoga 910, and Lenovo Miix 510.
Lenovo is all set to launch its Z2 Plus smartphone in India by the end of this month. The company recently posted a teaser of the same on Twitter, showing a smartphone with the caption, "Impatience is a Virtue and #FastForward". The Z2 will likely have similar specifications as that of the Zuk Z2 smartphone, which was launched in China back in May.
The Zuk Z2 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with dual nano-sim support and sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. There's also a fingerprint sensor and a 3,500mAh battery.
